How Important is Clean Drinking Water?

We all know that water is essential to life. It even makes up 70% of the body’s composition. Yet so many people miss the mark by drinking just any kind of water. The water you drink needs to be clean and as pure as possible. A filtering water dispenser can make it possible to get the kind of water your body needs every day.

The media and even your doctor may not put enough emphasis on making sure that the water you consume is fit for human consumption.

Tap water is loaded with harmful chemicals and bacteria which lead to disease. Heavy metal poisoning is possible with this kind of water causing conditions such as schizophrenia and memory loss.

Giardia, e. coli and cryptosporidium, three types of bacteria that are rampant in tap water. They can lead to digestive disorders and pathogenic illness that could even result in death.

And still there are contaminants such as industrial and large scale farming run off that are major contributors to many forms of cancer.

Spring or filtered water seem to be a step up. However, they are usually sold in cheap grade plastic bottles and plastic particles into them. This plastic is a potent source of estrogen mimickers. Consuming them on a regular basis can contribute to many estrogen related disorders including infertility and obesity.

Contrary to popular belief, you don’t have to drink 8 glasses of plain water each day to be healthy. This recommendation really is targeted towards people who consume high amounts of processed foods. Besides usually being dry, processed foods contain loads of sodium and chemicals. Drinking more water can eliminate these chemicals and sodium residues from your body.

Take note, however, that drinking lots of water will also remove essential vitamins and minerals from your body as well. Water soluble vitamins such as vitamins B and C are quickly eliminated from the body in urine.

So make sure to use your water for a wide variety of nourishing preparations in your kitchen. Soups and stews, for example, taste fantastic made with purified water. They are an easily digestible source of important vitamins and minerals. They will supply your body with fluids for many bodily processes, while building you up with nutrients your body needs.
